FAROS is a second generation family business, a spark of light of the vision of Evangelos and Vasiliki Moraitakis to design, manufacture and offer handmade nautical products. Each from their own perspective and with a common focus on creation, kindness and passion, they placed the lighthouse in a small shop at 66 Papadiamantopoulou Street, in the area of Zografou. The lighthouse “lit up” for the first time on April 1, 1987, selling the classic for the time naval metal lamps and then expanded to other metal and wooden constructions and the notorious cast iron shields with models painted by the hand of Evangelos Moraitakis himself. In 2016, the helm of the company was passed to Irini Moraitaki, who gave FARO a modern perspective, expanding the range of products offered, while faithfully maintaining the years of tradition of the company. Today, after 37 years of uninterrupted operation, at Faros you can find a wide variety of nautical and other items and we are eagerly waiting to implement your unique innovative ideas.
